Fenix PD32 LED Flashlight Product Review

The first thing I notice about the PD32 LED Flashlight by Fenix is the size.  This is a perfect size flashlight.  At just under 6″ long and under 1″ in diameter, this flashlight is the perfect size to …

The Drums of War

Submitted by on December 6, 2011 – 4:00 pmNo Comment

I just finished reading an article from The Telegraph about Iran.  It seems Iran has just increased the state of readiness of Iran’s military forces.  The article states,

An order from Gen Mohammed Ali Jaafari, the commander of the guards, raised the operational readiness status of the country’s forces, initiating preparations for potential external strikes and covert attacks.

It appears that Iran has been reading the recent headlines in the US and have decided that there is a better than average chance that war will break out in the near future.  Over the past year, and especially in the past few months, there have been several “incidents” which seem to show that someone is already in a state of conflict with Iran.  From the Stuxnet virus to the most recent incident where there was an explosion at Iran’s uranium enrichment plant–someone seems to be targeting high value targets.  Just this past weekend, Iran claimed that a US drone was shot down in their territory.  If true, it seems to point to a coming conflict.  How soon?  My guess is that war could break out any time.  Watch out for skyrocketing fuel costs if war does break out.  During the second Iraq war I think I remember oil getting close to $150 a barrel.  Either way you look at it, Iran seems to be battening down the hatches as the drums of war beat louder and louder.

What can you do?    Make sure you have a decent food storage built up.  Get a few extra things that may come in handy should costs begin to skyrocket because of increased oil costs.  If you have some extra cash, consider purchasing a small amount of silver and gold as a security savings plan.  For certain, get a bug out bag.  If we go to war with Iran, it is possible that they will stage attacks on US soil.  Make sure you have things in order– get prepared–be a survivaleer.
